Lundy Island is approximately 30km from the coast of North Devon. It is a popular tourist attraction, known for its birdlife and numerous rock-climbing routes. LundyCam is a webcam that shows the southern half of the island, viewed from a south-easterly direction, including Surf Point and the tower on Beacon Hill. The webcam is located on the Devon mainland, about 40km from Lundy, so the island is only visible in clear weather. This map shows Lundy Island and North Devon. LundyCam updates every 10 minutes during office hours.

For more Lundy information, read the Lundy Island Background. LundyCam is based on modified Philips Toucam and Axis 205 cameras, and is controlled by a Java application. More information at LundyCam technical details.
